Public consultation – Discussion Paper on Proposed Amendments to the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme
The Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities released a discussion paper for public comment on 17 April 2013, proposing amendments to the regulations governing the administration of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme.
The discussion paper identifies opportunities to further enhance the operation of the Scheme, based on the experiences gained during the scheme’s first year of operation and on feedback from a broad range of stakeholders.
Written comments on the issues raised in this paper should be submitted to the department no later than Tuesday 7 May 2013 and can be emailed to ewaste@environment.gov.au or mailed to the Director, National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme, GPO Box 787, Canberra ACT 2601.
