Next month a group of Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) Antipodeans will set out to Laos and Thailand for 3 weeks. The students will work and volunteer directly with local village people in the areas of education, health care, conservation, building and renovation. Reuse-RecycleIT will work in partnership with the CGGS Antipodeans and will collect any used and unwanted, obsolete computer equipment with the proceeds going to a great cause –It provides direct support from CGGS community to a village community project, Teaching Aids or village infrastructure project our girls will be working on.
All you have to do is plan to drop off any unwanted “IT” items… (Laptops, PC’s or Monitors only) on Saturday 15th June at the Canberra Girls Grammar Senior School. These items will be sanitised of Data and processed with proceeds going to the Lao Antipodeans – (P.s. For larger Commercial Quantities i.e. Government unwanted equipment or Business’ we can collect for free during working hours).
